TRICK TO SPEED UP FIREFOX BY 375%



1 Open the firefox internet web browser

2 Type "about:config" in the url location bar. Once typed the user should see a list of accessibility options within the browser itself.

3 Locate the filter bar menu. Type the following into filter bar: "network.http.pipelining..

4 Change the pipelining setting from "False" to "True." To change the setting, simply double click on the "network.http.pipelining" command line. The setting should change from true to false.

5 Alter the maxrequests setting to speed up Firefox. In the filter menu bar, type the following: "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests." Double click on the maxrequests command line and change the maxrequest value field from four to eight.

6 Move the cursor to back to menu filter bar. In that menu, type the following: "network.http.proxy.pipelining". Doubleclick on the pipelining command line. This should change the value field from the false setting to true.

7 Select the filter menu bar. In the menu filter bar, type the command line "network.dns.disableIPv6". Use the mouse and double click on the command line to change the value field from false to true.


8 Choose the filter menu bar again. This time type in the following, "plugin.expose_full_path." Double click on the command line to change the value from false to true.


9 Create another name for the preference option in the plug-in setting command line. While "plugin.expose_full_path" is still typed in the menu filter bar, select the command line and right click. From the right click menu select "new" and then choose "integer". In the preference name dialogue box type the following, "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and then click "OK". In the next dialogue box, enter zero as the value. And Now Firefox should speed around the Internet with ease.
